As we move through life we face many challenges, some are there because of ingrained habits and limited perspective, while others are meant to stretch and grow us. As my friend Teri told me once about the challenges that are meant to stretch and grow us, “Once we decide on what we want, the Universe sends everything our way that we need in order to grow into who we need to become for that to happen”. In my experience the same thing happens when its time to wake up and step into your greater purpose, regardless of where you are in life. We all have a purpose, whether we know what it is or not, and if you’re not fully living in your purpose or moving towards it, watch out! Often when the challenges are because of old habit patterns or limited perspective, it seems like you’re just not moving forward in life or your results aren’t showing up the way you thought they would. Results not quite showing up? Often the biggest challenge you run up against and is probably the most frustrating is seeing and knowing that your next level, perhaps your ideal job or a jump in revenue in your business, is eluding you. You can see it, feel it, taste it, almost touch it and you just can’t seem to get there. Guess what? This is quite natural when you are up against a barrier. The good news is that the barrier can melt away and it doesn’t have to be hard. When you settle for what is “fine” or for life without passion, you are doing yourself a disservice and robbing the world of the gifts that only you can bring.
